Ministry to the whole person at each stage of life
Luke 2:52 states, “And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.” This verse exemplifies how we must grow as we journey along in life and faith. Triangle Baptist Church believes that everyone present is a member of our family, whether you are visiting for the first time or have been a part of the family from the beginning. Therefore, the Family Ministry seeks to minister to the whole person at each age and stage of life.
Equip
We desire to grow in our faith, just as Jesus grew. To support and encourage this growth, we offer a synchronized discipleship program appropriate for each age and stage of life.
- Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. is a time for our community to come together to worship through song, prayer, and the proclamation of the Word.
- Children are invited to Kid’s Church each Sunday during the worship hour. Here they have weekly lessons taught through dynamic music, hands-on activity, and small group discussions.
- Go Deeper – two choices to go deeper in a small group format: Sundays at 9 a.m. or Wednesdays at 10 a.m.
Empower
Growing in faith is a life-long journey. We desire to empower each person and family to grow in their faith by providing the tools necessary to understand how to develop their own spiritual practices to encourage their growth.
- Bible Study opportunities are offered throughout the year at various times.
- Small Group get-togethers around specific topics.
Encourage
Each person is given Spiritual gifts in order to serve God within the community. We practice intergenerational, holistic ministry, in which all serve through their spiritual gifts, regardless of age or gender.
Discipleship Classes:
Our next Discipleship Class begins on Sunday, April 12. Practicing the Way is a pathway to becoming like Jesus in community. We need to practice Jesus’ teachings, to get his ideas from our minds into the muscle memory of our bodies. We do this by adopting practices from Jesus’ own life, time-tested disciplines for the spiritual life that open up our entire being to God and allow him to transform us into people of love.
